Mechanical CATIA Designer/Project Engineer

Responsible for the design, development, qualification and documentation of wiring harnesses, thermocouples, speed sensors and cable products. Support business development through customer problem resolution, report writing, proposal generation and presentation. Communicate directly with customers. Provide engineering support to existing manufactured product through investigation, documentation, problem resolution and training to improve processes, reduce lead times and reduce costs.

Ideally degree qualified in a mechanical discipline and proficient in CATIA V5 and 3D design with 3+ years experience in aerospace environment preferably with smaller company or component supplier. Specific harness design and layout experience would be an advantage.
